Jim Hall is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of South Carolina (USC) where he taught percussion. He has an incredibly wide range of performance and recording credits. He has been with the Ray Price Road Show, the famous North Texas One O'clock Lab Band, the South Carolina Philharmonic, Chamber, and Opera Orchestras, and has backed acts such as Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Barbara Eden, Rich Little, and Billy Eckstine. Jim has also performed with Marian McPartland's Trio and is a member of The Dick Goodwin Quintet and Big Band. Jim is the first-call studio drummer and percussionist in the area, because he is able to handle all styles from Dixieland to contemporary.
