Originally from Greenville, SC, Dwight Spencer received his masters degree in jazz studies from the University of South Carolina (USC). He has recorded with Maurice Williams of the Zodiacs and Dennis Williams of the Temptations. He has performed with Marian McPartland and Louis Bellson and he’s a member of the Dick Goodwin Quintet and Big Band. He is constant demand as a theater pit musician, a jazz player, and a studio player on the banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass. Dwight also teaches chorus and guitar at Andrew Jackson Middle School.
