Doug Graham performs on clarinet
for the VCJB. He is Professor of Single Reeds
and Assistant Director of Bands at the University
of South Carolina (USC). He is Principal Clarinetist
with the South Carolina Philharmonic and performs
regularly with the Carolina Camerata Woodwind
Quintet. He has also been a featured soloist
with the South Carolina Philharmonic, the South
Carolina Chamber Orchestra, the USC Chamber
Orchestra, the Conductor’s Institute Orchestra,
the Spartanburg Symphony Orchestra, the Hendersonville
Symphony, and the USC Symphonic Bands. Doug
has served as clinician, conductor, adjudicator,
and soloist with school and community bands
and orchestras throughout the Southeast. He
is an active studio, jazz, and commercial musician
and a member of the Dick Goodwin Jazz Quintet,
the USC Faculty Jazz Group, and the Carolina
Jazz Society.
